Rule 48
Duties of Bidding Documents

(1) A person, firm, institution or company interested in purchasing the documents related to the tender shall collect the following fee from the body or two or more other bodies designated by the body or two or more other bodies designated by the body or two or more other bodies designated by the body, the signature of the head of the relevant public body or the employee designated by him and the signature and office seal of the body. It will be:-
(a) Three thousand rupees for above twenty lakh rupees up to two crore rupees,
(b) Five thousand rupees for above two crore rupees up to ten crore rupees,
(c) ten thousand rupees for above ten crore rupees up to twenty five crore rupees,
(d) twenty thousand rupees for any amount above twenty five crore rupees.
(2) If any person, firm, company or organization makes a written request to send documents related to bidding or documents related to call for proposals by paying the fee and postage or courier fee as per sub-rule (1), the relevant public body shall send such person, firm, company or organization by post or Bid related documents should be sent through career. However, if such a person, firm, company or organization fails to receive the documents related to the bid in time, the public body will not be responsible for that.
